Work Stress
-
Work stress can lead to fatigue, a loss of motivation, feelings of disillusionment, irritability, and difficulty concentrating, potentially culminating in burnout that affects both professional and personal life. These symptoms can further result in decreased job satisfaction, detachment from work, and reduced performance.

We believe it is inherent in our human nature to aspire for success. When we fail or lose touch with this aspect of ourselves, it is not because we didn't try. Perhaps the cause lies in recent events or stems from our childhood. However, the barriers to success often relate to how we were taught to perceive and achieve success. When work stress dominates our lives, it is likely because we were never set up for success in the first place.

Our approach to managing work stress involves assisting clients in understanding the role of stress and its specific function within their contexts. We identify and challenge negative self-perceptions and beliefs about work. We guide clients in mastering boundary-setting to promote genuine self-care and to changing the broader toxic work culture.
In the Asian community, reducing workload or changing roles is often misconstrued as laziness or failure. We strive to dismantle this misconception, helping clients recognize their potential and understand that they possess the necessary skills to reach higher ground. By positioning ourselves for success, we observe a decrease in work stress, accompanied by increased confidence and improved negotiation skills in the workplace.
