• You have likely experienced trauma if your general sense of safety has been shaken and daily activities are disrupted by intense flashbacks, recurring nightmares, severe anxiety, and uncontrollable thoughts about the traumatic event(s). If untreated, these symptoms can develop into avoidance behaviors, emotional numbness, hypervigilance, and difficulties in maintaining relationships.

  • If you have experienced trauma and are currently suffering from PTSD symptoms, we are truly sorry. It is not okay. Those wounds should never have happened, and you don’t have to bear your pain alone.

  • Our approach to trauma involves helping survivors reframe their symptoms as responses to overwhelming stress and perceived threats. We then provide a safe space for clients to express their pain and develop coping strategies to tolerate it. Contrary to popular belief, discussing the traumatic event is not a prerequisite for finding resilience and recovery. There are many effective treatments developed for PTSD symptoms that do not require the survivor to share their experiences if they find it too difficult.

It is possible to heal from trauma and regain control of your body. We are here to stand with you and navigate a path through the pain and fear.
