The intention was simple: to provide our kids with the best life possible and ensure their happiness. However, it doesn't always feel like we're succeeding. We are here to be your village and help you become cycle breakers, effective leaders, and thriving caregivers.

Parenting

  • Most parents understand that raising children isn't easy, and they give their utmost effort to make it work. However, anticipating the outcomes can be challenging, and before one realize it, the situation may spiral into overwhelming frustration, anxiety, depression, strained family relationships, burnout, feelings of inadequacy, and more.

  • Parenting is a challenging yet rewarding journey that requires time, energy, and resilience. Struggling with energy, balancing work commitments with family responsibilities, addressing behavioural issues, managing "big feelings," navigating screen time, enforcing homework and boundaries are all normal aspects of this role. What is not normal is reaching capacity and experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, and strained relationships.

We believe that every guardian has the potential to raise healthy, secure, and fulfilled children without sacrificing their mental and physical health or relationships. We also hold the conviction that parenting is never meant to be a solitary endeavour and it takes a village to raise the next generation well.

  • Our approach to parenting is twofold, encompassing both aspects of psychotherapy and coaching. It begins with the philosophy that children are inherently wired to want good and be good. When problems arise, it's not because there's something wrong with the child or parents, but because they lack the proper tools to navigate their challenges.

The psychotherapy component concentrates on addressing the mental health of parents and the underlying causes of stressors. It stems from the belief that when we flourish, our children flourish with us. The coaching component focuses on applying concepts learned in therapy and practical tools to real-life challenges.
