Meet Grace
Grace Chau, Masters of Arts in Counselling (2027 Candidate), CEDR Accredited Mediator
As a licensed lawyer (HK & UK) and mediator (CEDR worldwide), I have seen and understand the practical challenges many couples face, which led me to pursue training in psychotherapy. My experiences have taught me to address problems as they arise, before they become more difficult to manage or place greater strain on the relationship. In training to become a therapist, I am in a unique position to assist couples working on their relationship and challenges, to facilitate emotional growth and enact meaningful change to their lives.
Having grown up both in Asia and the West, I am culturally-informed and aware of the social and relational norm and differences. I speak fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
I am currently enrolled in the Masters of Counselling programme with Monash University, and I anticipate to qualify as a therapist by July 2027, with a focus on using the Gottman Method (Couples Therapy), Emotions Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
